In February 2021, New Amsterdam Jazz partnered with Amarte Studio Concerts to organize a 50-concert series at De Roode Bioscoop in Amsterdam. Held during the lockdown, the series invited duos and trios to experiment and perform in intimate 30-minute sets, all of which were professionally recorded (audio/video).

New Amsterdam Jazz was responsible for programming and producing all 50 sessions: 25 jazz concerts, 15 pop and world music performances, and 10 classical concerts. Over the course of the series, NAJ supported more than 130 musicians. The concerts were released on Amarte Studio’s YouTube channel and later broadcast on national television by AT5 as part of the daily segment "In de Roode Bioscoop."
